Pottery

Cone Fired pieces are fired at a higher temperature, this makes the artwork stronger and able to withstand outdoor cold temperatures.

Pit Fired pieces are a low temperature firing technique where the pottery is placed in a pit, different elements are place over such as copper carbonate, iron oxide or salt to give it different cloud like effects which gives it a South Western vibe.

Raku Fired pieces are also a low temperature firing technique where the pottery is fired to about 900 degrees and then quickly removed from the kiln and placed into another container, with organic materials and covered, depriving it of oxygen. This gives the work very dramatic metallic effects, or very crackled effects
